Wife of the Late Chief Moshood Abiola Sues PDP Over Jonathan`s Sole Candidature.

Professor Akasoba Duke, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and aspirant for the 2015 presidential election, has filed a suit brfoe a Fedral Hight Court in Abuja, agains the party for denying her an Expression of Interest Form after she paid mandatory sum for acquisition of the form.

Wife of the Late Chief Moshood Abiola, said she was denied of the form by the party after pating 2 Million and obtaining a reciept of paying from the party Headquarters in Abuja the Country`s Capital.

For Court to bar INEC from recognising President Goodluck Ebele Jonather, as the party candidate with an argument that the party had failed to meet with the electoral requirements as stipulated in it own constitution as as well as country`s Electoral Acts.

On Tuesday, President Goodluck Jonathan declare his interest to re-contest for the position of President on the platform.

"When she get to the party`s Headquarters on said date, security agent at the entrance refuses her into the secretariat and, rather became hostile to her and her supporters". She said.

Mrs Abiola, in an affidavit however said she disgraced by the party`s sections, adding that, upon issuance of the receipt by the party, she met with the party`s national Organizing Secretary, who congratulate her and asked her to return on 28 October to meet the National Chairman of an official and over the Expression of Interest Form.
